I’m Jeanette and ‘Forty and off the rails’ really does sum up my current situation. I’m rapidly approaching mid 40’s and stuck in the craziness of 3 kids, husband, lots of playing squash and also a job. This blog is me dipping my toe in the world of clothes and fashion blogs, which until relatively recently has been world of mystery to me. However I love clothes and whilst I can’t buy every trend and look going, I can live vicariously through this blog, imagining that my wardrobe is bursting at the seems with all the goodies I spy from the highstreet and online. However in the real world there are limitations for us all around our size, lifestyle and budget. I heroically nominate myself as the guinea pig for trying on as many pieces as possible so you can witness the successes and the frankly hideous mistakes I make along the way. Join me in my quest!
